Vaccinations

Vaccine Policy

Dominion Health Family Wellness Center firmly believes in the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent serious and life-threatening diseases in our patients and to avoid the outbreak of such diseases community-wide. As medical professionals, we know that vaccinating on schedule is the right thing to do for all patients: infants, children and adults.

At DHFWC, we expect parents to immunize their children according to the schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Academy of Family Physicians (hyperlink). If patients are demonstrating the intent to be fully vaccinated through a modified schedule, then they may continue to be patients of the practice. As a minimum standard, parents/patients must agree to receive the following vaccines (will be  a hyperlink of the vaccine schedule).

Below you can find information about vaccines from various resources. Our physician is available to answer any and all questions you may have about vaccinations.

Also, please be aware there are many websites that contain misinformation and falsities about vaccines. We are honored to be entrusted with the care of your child, so please rest assured that we are providing you with accurate, fact-based information and we are treating your child as we would treat our own.
