The name “Dominion” holds profound significance to Dr. Emily Cooper, founder and CMO. It hails from her roots in Virginia, often dubbed the Old Dominion, while also reflecting a belief in the divine sovereignty over the earth. Regardless of individual spiritual perspectives, she firmly believes that each of us has dominion over our bodies and she is charged with assisting patients attain optimal health and wellness.

Driven by both personal conviction and professional dedication, Dr. Cooper’s purpose revolves around enhancing the well-being of multigenerational families. Recognizing that the vitality of parents directly impacts the flourishing of children, her experience in the “sandwich generation” has provided invaluable insights into holistic family care, spanning from infancy to old age. As a family physician, she approaches patient care not only with a scientific mindset but also with the empathetic understanding of a believer, wife, mother, sister, and daughter.
